Why You Should Hire A Personal Trainer To Help You Hit Your Fitness Goals

Why You Should Hire A Personal Trainer To Help You Hit Your Fitness Goals

Have you asked yourself if you really need a personal trainer? Do you want to stay focused on your fitness goals and achieve them safely and sustainably? If you answered yes, this article is for you. Here are five reasons why you should hire a personal trainer to help you hit your fitness goals.

They hold you to account

Personal trainers—whether it's an online personal trainer or an in-person trainer—not only design a workout and dietary plan for you but also ensure you stick to it. They challenge you in a way an exercise buddy might not. They help you to evaluate your lifestyle to determine habits you may need to stop or start so you hit your fitness goals.

They have a better understanding of how best to get YOU to hit your fitness goals

Do you want to be healthy or fit? Personal trainers know how best to get you there. What's more, they know how to do it safely and sustainably.

They help you set SMART fitness goals

While it's good to have goals, we can get too ambitious. We want to lose A LOT of weight quickly. A personal trainer will help you come up with goals that are realistic and achievable in a way that won't jeopardize your health.

They have the qualifications and experience to help you

Let's face it: working out can easily turn harmful if you don't know what you're doing or lack proper guidance. This is where certified personal trainers come in. They're qualified to design appropriate workout plans. They're also qualified to recommend the best workout equipment to help you hit your fitness goals.

They help you understand WHY

Do you want to know why you shouldn't want to lose so much weight in a short space of time? A personal trainer can expertly tell you why. Do you want to know why particular workout routines are suggested to tone specific muscles in targeted areas?

A professional trainer can tell you why. Do you want to know WHY you may have to make dietary changes? A trainer will explain. In fact, having a personal trainer answer your questions is the best way to understand your fitness journey and stay motivated.

They monitor you

This is specifically great for your safety. Fitness newbie or not, a personal trainer guides you to ensure you are using workout equipment safely. They also see to it that you are performing your exercise routines correctly.

Point to consider

Regardless of the trainer you go for, evaluate their qualifications and personality, the trainer's schedule, your budget, and reviews left by clients. This will ensure you choose the right personal trainer to help you hit your fitness goals.

Life is short, walk around in confidence.

Grateful to live in a place where the Blue Angels fly at sunset.

A little less than 4 weeks away from stepping on stage and finishing up school this week with for the semester.
Yep, feeling the contest prep!

I had two thesis papers to write, feeling accomplished after scoring a 100 on the first one turned in this week.

Phytoestrogens Help Women Balance Hormones Naturally
This topic sparked my interest because I have been doing hormone balancing for more than 10 years now and it's made a huge difference in my life. Most men and women aren't even aware there is a hormone issue. As we age we think the weight gain, the lack of energy, the lack of libido, and the onset of autoimmune issues just are normality.

This isn't the case, why not feel like you are in your 20's again! Through nutrition, fitness, and bioidenticals, you can feel your best.

Have you had a saliva test?
Test your hormones now- this panel checks cortisol, DHEA, testosterone, progesterone, and estradiol.

Life is good in Orange Beach!

Never stop dreaming!

6 Weeks Out...

What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?

One year ago I decided to step my game up! I wasn't happy where I was personally so I decided to change (Mind, Body, & Soul). I'm thankful my husband is still beside me and willing to hang out to see if a change is possible. I am by far the BEST version of myself I have ever been and I bought this new custom wedding band to tell my hubby thanks for the much needed "push".

Thanks to Blue Marlin Jewelry in Islamorada, Florida

So thankful for this handsome man.

We are so in love with Orange Beach and our house. These warmer days make me never want to vacation again!

Finally warm enough to enjoy our new toy at Robinson/Bird Island
Island Time Tours & Charters

Ono Island, Alabama

Orange Beach, Alabama

Went out this week for an afternoon boat ride and caught the sunset. I hoped for this life, I dreamed, and I worked for this life!

Yesterday was a refeed day with an additional 150g of carbs! My day started with these delicious Gluten-Free pancakes topped with low sugar syrup, blueberries, and walnuts.

Today started with lower carbs, lower fat, and higher protein for the next week.

I love a good hammock 💓💕

Boat rides, sunsets, boat show... great way to kick off the spring season!

One of my new favorite spots to be, I love this place!

Thunder Thighs!

Hi guys...

Well, I am dedicating this blog to all the women who have thunder thighs...
I have battled my legs my entire life and after a year of heavy weight training and lots of stair climbing, I am happy to say, I am proud to have "In Shape" Thunder Thighs. Ladies, it's time to work!

I spent countless hours running for years trying to get the cellulite off my thighs and it never worked. It didn't matter how thin I became, I could still see dimples. 👎

Don't be afraid of the weights as I once was! I have always been scared to grow my legs because I was teased throughout my life for having "Thunder Thighs".

7 Weeks from Battle on the Bluff and I'm still feeling great. 40 min of stair climbing a day plus weight training and I'm netting around 800 calories a day after my workouts.

Afternoon Cardio Session

Who is else is thrilled Summer is approaching, I could spend every minute of every day outside.
Really looking forward to enjoying the season here in Orange Beach.

I'm getting questions daily about supplements, nutrition, and my workouts.
I promise to start working on more videos time permitting to start helping you towards your fitness goals. If you have a question, send it my way and I will do my best to address it.

Follow me on IG @cindylaneross for more videos!

A great quote I came across during my podcast hour at the gym
"It's better to be pulled by your dreams, rather than pushed by your problems."

A very interesting book I am reading this week- Eating Between the Lines

I hope everyone has a great week and as always I greatly appreciate your following along in my journey!

Contest Prep 💪& Mardi Gras 🎭

Learning balance is key. It's Mardi Gras weekend and I'm 10 weeks out from stepping on stage at The Battle on the Bluff.

Last night we attended the Mystics of Pleasure Ball and I put on one of my gowns that I have owned well over 10 years. Everything fit perfect except... I think I grew my back too wide :) If you happened🎭 to see me last night, don't judge the tucked in flaps where it wouldn't zip up my back 💪Tonight will be the same scenario and for the first time in my life, I'm happy my size 2 gown doesn't fit!

Personal Growth...

Over the past 6 weeks of being back in school, I have learned more than I ever have in my life.
I'm 41 back in school, the beauty is... you are never too old!

Everyone keeps asking me how I fit everything in; studying, writing, researching, training, contest prep, personal training, social media marketing, etc.  DISCIPLINE and TIME MANAGEMENT.

The two go hand in hand and one helps me focus on the other. You have to prioritize your life and focus on what you want to accomplish. In order for me to give school 100%, I had to remove myself from countless hours on Facebook and Instagram. Instead, I treat it like a business and schedule my post out.

Also, we decided to travel less over the next two years while I'm in school and really enjoy being at home. It's really hard to keep up with my studies and contest prep if we are constantly leaving the house. I feel I'm definitely in a new season and ready to settle down for the first time. My home has become better than any vacation. Create the life you want.

I am 11 weeks out until the next show and I am already taking midterm exams and currently writing 2 thesis papers which are due in April.

If you have a goal in mind, make it happen! Do what it takes to get it done. You only live once, so make the best of it. Every morning you should wake up excited to take one step closer to reaching your dreams. If you aren't excited, it's time to make a change. Don't look back 5 years from now and wish you would have made the changes then. Today is the day. I was listening to a podcast the other morning while training and they really focused in on living for now. What if today was your last day on earth, are you living your dream or someone else's?

I promise to give you a book recommendation weekly. One that I listened to recently on Audible, "You Can't Hurt Me" by David Goggins. This man is truly my hero and I was sad when the book came to an end. This was recommended to me over Christmas and it's a best seller now. I am a self-motivator but sometimes it's good to hear it from someone else.
If you find you don't have time to read, listen on Audible when you working out, driving, cooking, etc
Again we make time for the things we really want to do, never stop learning!

If you missed my post about Gluten Free last week on my blog for Life Wellness Forever, here is the link...  Life Wellness Forever Blog

I was astounded at the response and how many people actually have symptoms of gluten intolerance. I'm thrilled to be able to help others achieve a better quality of life through my education.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday and I look forward to seeing you next week. If you love what you are reading please share on social media and spread the word! Happy Mardi Gras.

Love
XOXO,
Cindy Lane Ross

What an amazing experience and really glad I chose to do OCB for my 1st show, I honestly loved every minute of it and sad to see it all come to an end.
Judges critiques to come in leaner next time and add more sass to my stage presence.

Now into reverse dieting and start working towards my first full season starting June 2019 :)
Thanks to my support team...
Left Christian Simmons (Coach), my #1 Co-pilot (Jason Ross), and my dear friend Chasity Rice.

I love you and thank you for the support you give me in LIFE!

Thanks for being my person, love you to the moon and back Chance Lane! xoxo

Thanks for following along... I will still be updating you weekly to show my transition. I have found the sport I have been searching for since my tennis career ended due to Rheumatoid Arthritis 20 years ago. I'm excited to share this journey with you, just remember it's never too late to chase a dream!
